4th Onkyo Braille Essay Contest Winners Announced

11/28/06 - We are pleased to announce the winners of the 4th Braille Essay Contest, co-sponsored by Onkyo Corporation and the Braille Mainichi Shimbun Newspaper Group.

This contest was created with the hope of establishing a bridge between the worlds of Braille and sound for the visually impaired. We announced our call for entries in March, 2006, and subsequently received 76 essays from within Japan, 17 from the Asia-Pacific region in the international section and 38 from the inaugural Middle East, Central and Southern Asia section.
